“As a child, I spent many school holiday breaks with my grandmother in Mentone. Her house overlooked what is now the Riviera Campus which is a really special ‘full-circle’ moment for me.”

Mary has a long and distinguished career in leadership and management which includes her current role as the Head of Riviera, Mentone Grammar’s vibrant Years 5 and 6 Campus.

Prior to this appointment, Mary was the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing and Community at St Mary’s Primary School, and she also served for many years at Caulfield Grammar School where she held roles such as Head of Middle School, Head of the Nanjing Campus and Wellbeing Project Leader. Mary also holds a Master of Education.

When she’s not working with her students and staff, Mary loves to travel and experience different cultures.  She also enjoys getting her adventure fix by reading lots of books to transport her to another time and place. She loves sharing her passion for reading with her students and hearing about their own areas of interest.
