Years 10 – 12
Frogmore is a dynamic Campus that supports our Senior students in Years 10 – 12 to customise their learning experience and pursue their own definition of Happy, Healthy and High Achieving.
Frogmore students work closely with a team of VCE specialist teachers and wellbeing staff who are highly regarded for the positive relationships they build with students, based on mutual respect and genuine care.
The Campus offers a full complement of Year 10 subject selections including VET subjects as a precursor to VCE studies in Years 11 & 12.
The Year 10 program enables students to explore personal interests and develop skills, knowledge and understanding in increasingly sophisticated ways prior to VCE selections.
The sequential Years 11 & 12 VCE program delivers a broad, comprehensive range of subjects including selected VCE/VET offerings along with an alternate VCE – Vocational Major (formerly VCAL) pathway.
In support of our strong academic culture, the Senior School Library offers wide-ranging student resources and a unique after-school Tutors Program, staffed with former high-achieving Mentonians, across all subject specialties.
Student Leadership
Leadership positions are considered a great honour and a privilege at Mentone Grammar and help prepare students for their future.
Opportunity for senior leadership is greatly encouraged within the House system and through pursuits such as Cadets, community service, or the arts.
Well-rounded Education
Our emphasis is always on providing a well-rounded education, so all students are encouraged to experience a wide range of co-curricular activities that complement their academic program and cultivate talents beyond their textbooks. Our School is highly regarded in the areas of visual and performing arts, AGSV/APS sport, and debating and public speaking.
Our students have access to a campus filled with welcoming, contemporary facilities that are purpose built to create the very best in learning environments. Our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy, where all students get to choose what suits their learning best, is well supported by leading infrastructure and technologies which all add to our comfortable, vibrant learning spaces.
At the end of three years in the Frogmore Campus we farewell each student knowing that they have had the very best educational opportunities, mentoring and care to set them up for life beyond school.
